Salmon Heaven Lodge & Guide Service

FISHING!!! The Salmon River provides anglers an extraordinary fishing experience for trophy size Steelhead, Salmon and Brown Trout. Salmon are caught all summer in Lake Ontario and then the first large runs of King and Coho Salmon into the Salmon River begins around the end of August. These early fish are bright and solid weighing between 18 - 40 lbs. Salmon continue to inhabit the river until the end of October. If you want to catch chrome fish, you should arrive in the first three weeks of September. Steelhead begin showing up from the middle of October on, feeding on salmon eggs from the King Salmon.
